New Hampshire Healthy Kids Website
Healthy Kids is for uninsured New Hampshire residents under the age of 19. They must also be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with at least 5 years in the U.S.. Family income must fall within the income guidelines. Some new members may have to wait for six consecutive months before coverage begins.
Healthy Kids covers:
- Doctor Visits
- Physical Therapy
- Speech and Occupational Therapy
- Mental Health
- Dental, Vision, and Hearing Services
- Hospital Care
- Emergency Room
- Prescription Drugs
- Lab and Radiology
Healthy Kids Gold, for the lowest-income families, offered is provided through the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. The Healthy Kids Silver, for all but the lowest income families, is provided through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Healthy Kids Gold has no monthly premium and no co-payments. Silver Plan premiums range from $25 to $45 per child. Silver has a $10 co-payment for some services.
Coverage is for a term of 12 months and can be renewed when plan level and eligibility are confirmed.
