Child Health Plus
Child Health Plus is for uninsured New York children under 19 years old. To enroll the child's family income must be within the family income guidelines. There may be a waiting period of 6 months if the applicant had prior coverage.
Child Health Plus provides health care benefits for:
- Well-Child Visits and Immunizations
- Speech Therapy and Hearing Tests
- Routine Physicals
- Dental and Vision Care
- Radiology and Labs
- Emergency Care
- Prescription Drugs
Lower income families have no monthly premiums. Other families will pay $9 or $15 a month per child. There are no co-payments or coinsurance.
