Pennsylvania CHIP is for uninsured residents of the state under the age of 19. Applicants must also be American citizens or legal residents. The family income must meet published income guidelines. There is no waiting period.

  • Prescription Drugs
  • Dental and Vision
  • Hospital and Emergency Care
  • Mental Health
  • Rehab Therapy

Several insurance carriers provide health care under CHIP, including Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Monthly premiums are very small if at all. There are no co-payments or coinsurance.

Coverage is for 12 continuous months and requires renewal.
