Rhode Island RIte Care Children's Health Insurance Program
RIte Care is for uninsured Rhode Island kids under the age of 19. Pregnant women can also qualify. They must be U.S. citizens as well. The applicant's family must meet publishes income guidelines. There is no waiting period for benefits.

- Emergency Room
- Labs and X-ray
- Prescription Drugs
- Dental and Vision
The participating HMO plans are provided by UnitedHealthcare, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, and Blue CHiP.
There are small monthly premiums based on the family income.
Enrollment in the RIte Care program is for up to 12 months. A renewal application that verifies continuing eligibility is required.
