Vermont Children's Health Insurance Program

Dr. Dynasaur

Dr. Dynasaur is for uninsured Vermont kids under the age of 18 years old. Family income guidelines are broad, for example, a family of four earning $54,000 qualifies for Dr. Dynasaur for the kids. Pregnant women can also get coverage for herself if  earning $24,000 or less per year. There may be a 30 day wait for children if previous group health insurance was cancelled voluntarily.

Dr. Dynasaur covers:

  • Doctor Visits and Immunizations
  • Hospital Care
  • Prescriptions
  • Dental and Vision
  • Physical and speech therapy
  • Mental health care

There are small premiums paid quarterly.

Coverage is for up to 12 months. Eligibility will be reviewed.
