Colorado Health Insurance Risk Pool (CoverColorado)
Coverage
- Indemnity plan with deductibles ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
- A high-deductible PPO plan with a $2,000 deductible. Plan pays 80% after deductible for most covered in-network expenses and 60% out-of-network. Maximum benefit limits apply to some expenses.
Eligibility
- Colorado resident for 6 months, and a U.S. Citizen or legal alien
- Been declined for health insurance for health conditions
- Offered coverage with a premium higher than the CoverColorado premium
- Offered coverage with a rider excluding a pre-existing condition for more than 6 months
- Previous health insurance was cancelled involuntarily
- Have a medical conditions on the CoverColorado presumptive list
- Ineligible for other health insurance coverage
