Plans

All individual health insurance carriers in Idaho must offer coverage to HIPAA eligible individuals. Five HRP plan types are offered that include basic, catastrophic A, catastrophic B, HSA, and standard.

Eligibility

• Uninsured Idaho resident under 65
• Not eligible for group health insurance
• Not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid
• Application for individual health insurance declined
• Offered individual health insurance at a higher rate than the HRP rate
• HIPAA eligible due to 18 months of continuous coverage under a group plan
