Indiana Health Insurance Risk Pool (ICHIA)
Plans
- Plan 1: $500 deductible, $1,500 annual out-of-pocket maximum
- Plan 3: $1,000 deductible, $3,000 annual out-of-pocket maximum
- Plan 3A: $1,500 deductible, $4,000 annual out-of-pocket maximum
- Plan 4: $2,500 deductible, $5,000 annuall out-of-pocket maximum
- All plans: 20% in-network coinsurance and 40% out-of-network coinsurance
Eligibility
- Indiana resident for at least 12 months
- Not eligible for Medicaid
- And must meet one of the following conditions
- HIPAA eligible: covered at least 18 months on a group health plan before applying for ICHIA within the lat 63 days not eligible for COBRA.
- Declined for individual health insurance coverage in Indiana
- Approved for individual health insurance, but the coverage offered costs more than a comparable ICHIA plan.
