West Virginia Health Insurance Risk Pool (AccessWV)
Plans
- Plan A is a PPO with a $400 ($800 for families) with 20% coinsurance. The annual out-of-pocket maximum is $2,000 single and $4,000 family.
- Plan B is a PPO with a $800 ($1,600 for families) with 20% coinsurance. The annual out-of-pocket maximum is $2,500 single and $5,000 family.
- Plan C is a PPO with a $2,00 ($4,000 for families) with 20% coinsurance. The annual out-of-pocket maximum is $3,000 single and $6,000 family.
Eligibility
Must be a resident of West Virginia for at least 30 days and:- Are not eligible to receive coverage under a group insurance plan.
- Are not eligible for medical coverage under a federal or state program including Medicare, Medicaid, WVCHIP.
One of the following must also be true:
- Were rejected for health insurance coverage within the last six months or have a pre-existing, severe or chronic medical condition
- Were offered health insurance that offers less coverage or similar coverage at a greater price than AccessWV
- Eligible under the Health Care Tax Credit (HCTC) Program (TAA, ATAA, PBGC) or HIPAA
