Wisconsin Health Insurance Risk Pool (HIRSP)
Plans
- Plan 1 is a PPO Plan with offering deductibles of $1,000 and $2,500 per year with 20% coinsurance. The maximum out-of-pocket limit for the $1,000 deductible plan is $2,000 for the individual plan and $4,000 for the family plan. The maximum out-of-pocket limit for the $2,500 deductible plan is $3,500 for the individual plan and $7,000 for the family plan.
- Plan 2 is a Medicare supplemental plan for those enrolled in Medicare Part A, B and D and offers a $500 deductible. No coinsurance on this plan and annual out-of-pocket limit of $1,000.

Eligibility
Must be a Wisconsin resident and:
- were rejected by 2 or more insurance carriers, or were offered of significant reduction of coverage, or received offers for insurance with premiums at least 50% higher than what you would be charged for a standard individual policy,
- qualified for HIPAA because you exhausted your COBRA continuation coverage
- You are not eligible for Medicare, Wisconsin Medicaid, or BadgerCare
