Get Medicare Health Plan Options
We can help you get products such as Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap), Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D prescription drug plans by referring you to health insurance companies in your area.
What is Medicare Supplement Insurance?
A Medicare Supplement insurance policy (also called Medigap insurance) helps pay the “gap” between what Original Medicare (Medicare Parts A and B) pays for your health care and what you pay out of your own pocket.
What is Medicare Advantage Plan?
Medicare Advantage Plans are Medicare Part C Plans. They cover everything original Medicare covers plus some extras like emergency and urgent care. Some plans may even include routine vision, routine dental and/or wellness programs. Most include prescription drug coverage under Medicare Part D.
What is Medicare Part D?
Part D Medicare Prescription Drug Plan a stand-alone drug plan that adds prescription drug coverage to Medicare. Medicare offers prescription drug coverage to everyone with Medicare. To get Medicare prescription drug coverage, you must join a plan run by an insurance company or other private company approved by Medicare. Each plan can vary in cost and drugs covered.
30-Day Free Look Protection
If you apply for a Medicare Supplement plan, you have a “free look” period of 30 days to decide if you like your new policy. The 30-day period begins on the first day the policy is active. If you decide to cancel your policy during the free look period, and if you are within your open enrollment period, you can apply and be approved for a new Medicare Supplement plan. If you are outside your open enrollment period, your application can be declined. This is why people who are applying for a new Medicare Supplement plan should not cancel any current plan until they are approved for the new plan.
